Darren Sugiyama founded Apex Outsourcing Insurance Services in 2003 – a firm that specialized in employee benefits for small-to-medium sized companies; and DaVinci Financial in 2012 – a national firm that specialized in life insurance for business owners.

In 2021, Darren decided to merge the two firms into one entity – DSC Advisor. DSC Advisor – an acronym for “The Darren Sugiyama Companies” – is now run by his wife Emilia Sugiyama.

Emilia has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry and serves in the capacity of President of DSC. Though Darren is no longer involved in the day-to-day management of DSC, he remains Chairman Of The Board.
